Ed2010 is a non-for-profit, volunteer-run organization which holds monthly events. At first, that meant happy hours only.

Our goal was to get Chicago media types to meet on a regular basis to socialize, help each other get work (either freelance or full-time) and to share career experiences and offer career advice.

After two successful years, we totally revamped the way Ed works in 2004 to bring you more networking opportunities, more career help and more excitement. From happy hours with guest speakers to panel discussions to additional programs such as resume building sessions and speed networking events, Ed2010 Chicago is working to keep the Chicago media community working!

Although our group has grown over the years, our goal remains the same: Our events are casual, fun, free to attend and often feature drink specials.

Ed gatherings are a relaxed way to meet other local journalists, art directors and photographers who work at a variety of publications. We'll work our hardest to make you feel at home and make sure you meet as many people as possible.
